Lori Gallup, Psy.D.
Dr. Gallup received a doctorate in Clinical Psychology. I completed an internship at Ancora State Hospital in New Jersey, where I treated chronically mentally ill adults and completed neuropsychological evaluations for forensic as well as neurological/rehabilitative purposes. I also completed neuropsychological externships at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, D.C. and at Mount Washington Pediatric Hospital (Baltimore, MD), focusing on neurodevelopmental disorders, including learning disabilities, ADHD, and autism spectrum disorders. Dr. Gallup is also a highly experienced School Psychologist; I have dual Master’s degrees in Reading and Special Education, as well as a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in School Psychology. As a School Psychologist, I have worked in both urban and rural school settings, worked with juveniles and young adults and their families and supervised other school psychologists in forensic settings. Dr. Gallup also has special expertise in identifying unique learning strategies in academic settings. Dr. Gallup divides her time between work in private practice and providing school psychological services for youth and their families.
